When residents of Washington work with Hess Injury Law, we take every available measure to help them obtain the positive outcomes their situations require. We have taken that commitment further by introducing a new associate to our firm. Our new Associate Attorney Ryan J. Armentrout brings a wealth of information and numerous abilities to our firm that ultimately better us as a legal team.
Ryan is a native of Yakima, Washington, and graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Philosophy. Prior to attending Gonzaga Law School, Ryan taught English in Japan for two years. While in law school, he worked at the school’s legal clinic where he assisted entrepreneurs as they sought to start their own businesses.
His next step in his legal career was to become an intern as a Rule 9 limited practice attorney at Salina, Sanger & Gauper. There, he developed his skills in handling family and property law issues. He was also active in moot court where he was a member of the Moot Court Honors Council. Ryan competed in the Albert R. Mugel National Tax Moot Court Competition, where he won the following awards:
He also won the Linden Cup Appellate Advocacy Competition based on his oral argument which was presented to Justices of the Washington and Idaho Supreme Courts.
After graduating from law school, he returned to the University of Washington where he graduated with an LLM in tax law in 2011. He then worked at two different locations before joining Hess Injury Law in 2014 as an associate attorney.
